About the Brand

Lightcove is a boutique brand specializing in handmade brass lighting — including wall sconces and ceiling lights — with a strong visual identity and custom finishes. The brand operates on Etsy, Shopify, and soon Amazon.

Challenge

The challenge was to validate Shopify as a high-converting channel for premium items ($600+ per product), with a small advertising budget. We wanted to create a blueprint for scaling without relying on discount strategies or massive paid media spend.

Strategy

Our strategy blended three core pillars:

  1. Pinterest Ads for Top-of-Funnel Discovery
    We launched low-budget Pinterest campaigns targeting interior design keywords, showcasing product visuals in aspirational settings.

  2. Google Ads Retargeting
    A minimal budget of $3.43 was used for dynamic remarketing on Google to bring back window shoppers from Pinterest and SEO traffic.

  3. Organic SEO & Onsite Optimization
    Thanks to months of work on SEO (collections, product pages, backlinks), we ranked on keywords like brass wall sconce and flush mount ceiling light. The site was optimized for both speed and mobile conversions.

In a single day:
