About the Brand
Lightcove is a boutique brand specializing in handmade brass lighting — including wall sconces and ceiling lights — with a strong visual identity and custom finishes. The brand operates on Etsy, Shopify, and soon Amazon.
Challenge
The challenge was to validate Shopify as a high-converting channel for premium items ($600+ per product), with a small advertising budget. We wanted to create a blueprint for scaling without relying on discount strategies or massive paid media spend.
Strategy
Our strategy blended three core pillars:
Pinterest Ads for Top-of-Funnel Discovery
We launched low-budget Pinterest campaigns targeting interior design keywords, showcasing product visuals in aspirational settings.Google Ads Retargeting
A minimal budget of $3.43 was used for dynamic remarketing on Google to bring back window shoppers from Pinterest and SEO traffic.Organic SEO & Onsite Optimization
Thanks to months of work on SEO (collections, product pages, backlinks), we ranked on keywords like brass wall sconce and flush mount ceiling light. The site was optimized for both speed and mobile conversions.
Results
In a single day:
Revenue: $3,031.50
Ad Spend: €49.49 (Pinterest) + $3.43 (Google Ads)
Sessions: 118
Conversion Rate: 3.39%
Orders: 4 high-ticket orders (average ~$750/order)
This represents a ROAS of over 60x, and an ACoS under 2%, all without Meta Ads or email campaigns.
What Made It Work
High Product Value & Brand Alignment: The visual identity and price point matched the expectations of Pinterest and Google visitors.
Mobile-First Page Design: Fast loading, clear information architecture, and large product photos boosted conversions.
Multi-Touch Funnel: Pinterest brought awareness, Google closed the loop, and SEO built authority over time.
No Discounts Needed: The quality of the product and trust from design + content was enough to trigger conversions.
Final Insight
You don’t need massive budgets to generate serious revenue. With the right creative, platform mix, and conversion-focused approach, a $50 media investment can turn into thousands in high-margin sales — especially in niche, premium verticals like interior design.
