After launching brands while working full-time at Metaltex, creating Nolucard was a natural next step — turning solo marketplace work into a full-service agency built to serve B2B and B2C brands with real strategy and long-term vision.
The Nolucard Story: A Natural Next Step
Nolucard didn’t start with a business plan or a flashy launch.
It started with one person — me — working late nights on my own brands after full days at the office.
For about a year, I worked at Metaltex Belgium as their e-commerce developer, focused on platforms like Bol.com and Amazon. I was deeply involved in listing optimization, catalog expansion, keyword strategy, content creation — everything needed to grow a product online.
But after hours, I was applying those same skills to my own projects.
Building Brands on the Side
What started as curiosity quickly became real. I launched Lightcove, a premium lighting brand, and later Cordular, a modular high-ticket furniture concept. I learned how to:
Build and design Shopify stores
Scale ads across Pinterest and Google
Rank on Etsy through SEO and smart listings
Source quality products, manage logistics, and create scalable offers
These weren’t just experiments — they were brands that began generating meaningful revenue.
And they gave me proof: I could build, optimize, and scale e-commerce businesses from the ground up.
From Employee to Founder
Eventually, something had to give.
Managing clients at work and products at home became too much to juggle. I had the skills, the experience, and the case studies. All that was missing was the structure.
So I launched Nolucard — a marketplace growth agency designed for brands ready to unlock their full online potential, both in B2C and B2B.
Rather than leaving everything behind, I transitioned Metaltex from employer to first client — an ideal match, since I already knew their catalog, structure, and growth potential.
